FF (Friends Foundation) is providing an affordable quality Primary Health Care and reproductive health (RH) services through establishment of RHCs (Reproductive health Centers) in the communities where deprived people can be facilitated. Presently services cover (Reproductive health, laboratory services, referral and immunization) Initially FF has its two service outlets in Rawalpindi. RHCs are providing services (16 hours a day) in other words morning and evening as well The key services provided by these clinics are: Antenatal and Postnatal RH Services Menopause Problem Infertility treatment Reproductive Tract Infections (RTIs) Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) IUDs insertions Training of Traditional Birth Attendants (TBA) Friends Foundation has its own Capacity Building Program functioning to assist Health Sector intervention to reduce IMR, MMR (Infant Mortality rate, Mother Mortality rate) in Pakistan. By adapting local available MCH services for quality assurances, FF focuses on Traditional Birth Attendants (TBA) trainings aiming to reduce IMR, MMR in Pakistan. These trainings have been organized in different rural and urban areas of Pakistan, for example Mansehra, Taxila Gujar Khan, Jhelum, Muree, Muzaffar Garh, Swat, Shangla, Dir, Mardan and various other cities. Friends Foundation has trained 339 TBAs on safe delivery methods by adopting population council methods and manual of training.
